It’s summer at last!  Our long, cool spring has produced a lush and verdant countryside.   As you cruise the gently rolling hillsides, you would imagine that you were far, far away. Our tiny town has several new attractions: Lizzie Lou’s, a wonderfully eclectic shop with everything from jewelry to furniture to yard art; The Stone Cellar, a magnificently restored wine shop, pub and pizzeria featuring delicious handmade pizzas and draft beer;  and Butter Beans,  a charming  ladies clothing boutique.  The summer concerts at Festival Hill, the Winedale Shakespeare Theatre, the new Fayetteville Chamber Music Ensemble are all unique and special in Texas. Our hamlet is a “must visit”. See you on the square ! … and as always – Happy Trails !
